I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
